I'm Mrs. Ortuno and 2024-25 will be my 24th year of teaching and my 13th year teaching Transitional Kindergarten, the best grade! I have been at Stoneman Elementary for 17 years, teaching kindergarten and first grade before moving to TK. My first 7 years I taught Technology at Highlands here in Pittsburg. I love using my techKnowledge in the TK classroom and to help others. For the past several years I have also served as a volunteer staff member with Whole Brain Teaching.
I have always wanted to be a teacher and love to create new and exciting activities for my students. I started my teaching career after graduating from California State University, Fresno with a bachelor's degree in Deaf Education and Clear Multiple Subjects teaching credential. In 2019 I completed my Transitional Kindergarten certification at University of LaVerne.
