A School Site Council (SSC) is a group made up of parents, teachers, school staff, and the principle who work together to plan and make decisions about how certain school funds are used to improve student learning.
The SSC looks at our school's goals, review data about how students are doing, and help decide which programs and resources will best support our children. It's an important way for families to have a voice in how the school serves students.
Why it matters:
  • Parents help shape the school's improvement plan
  • Funding decisions reflect the needs of our students and families
  • Everyone works together for human success
