Domestic violence is any violent or aggressive behavior within the home, often involving the abuse of a spouse or partner. It can take many forms, including:
- Physical (hitting, pushing, choking)
- Sexual (unwanted sexual contact or coercion)
- Emotional (threats, manipulation, humiliation)
- Financial (controlling money, restricting access to resources)
- Coercive/Controlling (isolating from family, monitoring activities, intimidation)
