Birthday Procedures
We love to celebrate birthdays at Stoneman. However, only the following are acceptable:

- Donate a book to the Stoneman Library. We will inscribe the book with scholar names and birthdate and it will be available for checkout in our library. Scholars will also be given a birthday certificate.
- Birthday bags with classroom supplies such as pencils, erasers, etc. for all the scholars in your child’s class (no candy).
- Prearrange with classroom teacher a date to bring a healthy, store-bought, and individually packaged snack for the classroom. No cupcakes or pizza allowed.
- Donated items will be given to the class at dismissal time.
- *Cupcakes and/or pizza are acceptable for teacher-planned parties*
- Scholars will be presented with special Stoneman Birthday pencils at the end of their birthday month. Dates will be sent to teachers ahead of time. Summer birthdays will be recognized at the end of the school year.
